What the guide covers
The place directory identifies established public river access, day-use areas, groves, and nearby visitor facilities. Each place page separates access documentation from general map references and links readers to the relevant land manager or public source when one is available.
Editorial and source standards
Official land-manager pages and maps come first. Google Maps and other public references may help identify an established name, but a listing alone does not establish public access. Ordinary directory inclusion is independent of payment.
Weather, river readings, and location-scoped notices are presented with source and update times so readers can judge freshness. Cached data is allowed to fail safely rather than being presented as current when a source cannot be refreshed.
Limits and independence
A gauge reading describes conditions at its station, not water depth or safety at every river place. The absence of an algae or access notice is not an all-clear. Visitors should follow posted signs, local closures, and the linked official guidance.
